20 days til surgery! not long now :D
start my optifast pre-op diet in 6 days.
i bought a HP Mini 311...so I can get on the net while I'm in hospital...if I want to.
picked up my pj layby
saw the dietician
im doing the optifast pre-op
1 day post op clear liquids
day 2 post op thinned fluids: milkshakes, soup, jelly, everything has to be super smooth
2 weeks post op i can start thickening my fluids and moving onto mushies
a post-op appointment with the dietician has been made for the 16/9 to transition me to solid foods and talk about supplements and vitamins.
still need to call the anaesthetist to make an appointment, and then wait for the hospital to contact me for a pre-admission appointment, and then im all good to go :D
im so freakin' excited. I am being a bit naughty this week before I start optifast, but its mostly because rhys and I havent done the shopping. We've had fast food the last 3 nights. I dont think im doing it as my "last super" kinda thing. its more circumstancial.
