blah
I want to look back and remember how hard I had to work for this. It’s so easy to forget the journey when you’ve reached your goal.
I quit the gym so that I could afford the fortnightly payments for private health insurance.
After weeks mucking around Rhys and I decided on a package that was suitable and that would cover me for elective surgery.
I have just over a grand put away to pay for the procedure and whatever isn’t covered for a shared room.
I’ve given up smoking and drinking because it makes you less eligible for the procedure
I saw my GP to get a referral to the same surgeon that Margi saw, in the process discovering that I’ve put on 10kg in 4 months, pushing my BMI up to 35…
Now for the second phase…
1. See dr Cohen for an initial consultation…and hopefully book a date for the surgery for when my private health cover kicks in (12 months)
2. Continue to save money
3. Wait .
Such a process. I wish I could speed up time.
