Day 5 Post-op Lapband

I'm feeling heaps heaps heaps better today. The last few days have been hell, I haven't even been bothered to blog about it. Today is the first day I can stand up straight and not feel like I'm going to burst open.

I'm weighing myself daily and adding my weight into my Skinnyr graph which is automatically updated on my "the numbers" page, and its pretty cool to see it going down. I was a little worried when I lost 2kg in the space of 2 days...But it's slowing down as my appetite increases.

My activity levels are very low and i'm constantly cold. I have to have a very hot shower, put a big jumper on, long pants, socks and get under 2 doonas to retain the heat. I can't wait to start moving again. Today I'm venturing out into the outside world, to see if medicare will pay for my godamn gastro-graffin swallow test ($200 later...).

My baby food in little sachets and yoghurt squeezies are going really well...they're my staples. I blended up a pack of bombay potatoes last night which was kinda spicy so I ate it with a few mouthfuls of greek yoghurt, and I think I really pushed my limit for the first time post-op. I'm only sposed to have 50mls at a time...6 times a day. But this was maybe 80mls all up? I'm amazed that my new-and-improved stomach is satisfied on so little! It will probably ease up in the next few weeks until I get a fill...but it still astounds me!
