A couple of days ago I soothed my worries of not having every single comfort I can think of for my op, by placing a rather large layby of pajamas at Myer. Well, not just pajamas. I managed to sneak in a lovely (60 dollar) black dressing gown, a crop top and some davenport undies (size 14…they didn’t have a 16…so I’m hoping after the pre-op diet they wont be too tight…otherwise they’ll be handy post-op)…along with the two pajama tops which can almost pass as going out tops (what is WITH that…pjs lookin like normal clothes???) and a pair of very soft baggy black pants. 200 bucks. yeah.
You know what crossed my mind? Why on earth am I laybying 200 dollars worth of clothes that probably wont fit me in 6 months time?!
Oh…I just want to look glamorous. Not in a moomoo. I’m only going to be in hospital 2 days tops…but I want to look lovely during that time. Not like a frumpy fat person who’s getting weight loss surgery… :O
