There's nothing much new to report. I'm not really hungry anymore during the day, the shakes are keeping me satisfied. At night I tend to have a few caloric fluids (diet cranberry juice) and sugar free lollies, mostly because I'm bored, not hungry.
I'm starting to feel a little disheartened with this diet. My weight loss has stalled. It hasn't changed for the past 2 days. I tried only having shakes, to cut the calories, and then I tried having 2 bars and only one shake. The bars are like double the calories of the shakes, but theyre still part of the VLCD. I could have bars all day if I wanted, but they're more expensive...and it's easier to get my water in with the shakes...plus they have more calories. But yeah neither dropping or increasing my calories has done anything. I'd really like to see 108kg on the scale and i'm only 0.5.kg away...but I don't seem to be moving from 109.4kg...FRUSTRATING!
But I don't mind doing it because there's really only 4 days til surgery now. Discounting today. I was really excited it the first week about the 5kg weight loss...and I was hoping to see another 5kg gone by the end of the second week...but I don't think it's gonna happen. I'll be lucky to lose another 2kg...sigh. See this is what my body does to me. I never lose more than 5kg at a time!!! And then I get upset and give up. It's not gonna happen this time!!
